This Cookie Policy explains how Vendeck ("Vendeck", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our marketing website, the merchant dashboard, and the storefronts we host. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use related technologies such as local storage, which work in a similar way. In this Policy we refer to all of these as "cookies".
2. The cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These are required for the service to work and cannot be switched off through our systems. They include the session and authentication cookies that keep you signed in to the dashboard, cookies that protect against cross-site request forgery, and a cookie that remembers a referral code when you arrive through an invite link. Without these, core features such as logging in and completing checkout will not function.
Functional
These remember choices you make, such as interface preferences, so we can give you a more personalised experience. If you block them, some features may be less convenient.
Analytics and performance
Where used, these help us understand how visitors interact with our sites so we can measure and improve performance. They collect information in aggregate.
Advertising
Vendeck does not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If this changes, we will update this Policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
3. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties whose services we use. When you sign in with Google, Google may set cookies as part of that process. When a customer pays on a storefront, our payment partners (Paystack and Flutterwave) may set cookies needed to process the payment securely and to help prevent fraud. These third parties are responsible for their own cookies under their own policies.

Most browsers let you view, manage, block, and delete cookies through their settings. The steps differ by browser, and your browser's help pages explain how. You can also usually set your browser to warn you before a cookie is stored.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of Vendeck from working, including signing in and checkout. Blocking other categories is unlikely to prevent you from using the sites but may reduce some functionality.
